We’re looking for a team member to join our IT Application Support team in the role of L1 Support.
WHERE YOU’LL WORK
At the Beroun Rehabilitation Hospital.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Providing support to our users—primarily internal employees from both the medical and administrative staff—in using the FONS Akord clinical information system and related systems
- Receiving requests and inquiries (via phone, email, or the helpdesk system) and properly logging them.
- Identifying the nature of the problem (hardware, operating system, applications). Resolving standard and recurring issues and requests (basic software configuration, adding new users, etc.).
- Escalating more complex issues to more experienced colleagues at higher support levels (L2/L3).
- Informing users about the status of their requests and verifying whether the provided solution was successful.
- Creating and updating guides for users and teammates.
WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU
- Completed high school education in a technical or technical-economic field
- Basic or intermediate knowledge of Windows operating systems and the MS Office / Microsoft 365 suite.
- A basic understanding of how computer networks and hardware work (so you know what an IP address is or how to connect a monitor).
- Communication skills and empathy—our users are sometimes stressed, so you need to be patient and able to explain things calmly and with a human touch.
- Reliability, analytical thinking, a desire to learn new things, and a team-oriented spirit.
- Basic knowledge of English (especially technical terminology).
- Previous experience in IT support or customer service is a plus, but not required!
