WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN THIS POSITION
- Performing expert diagnosis of sleep disorders (e.g. insomnia, sleep apnoea, parasomnia) including interpretation of polysomnographic records.
- Creating individual treatment plans aimed at improving the quality of patients' sleep, in collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists and other specialists.
- Educating patients on sleep hygiene and regimen measures and supporting the implementation of behavioural and pharmacological interventions.
- Active participation in the development of the sleep centre, including opportunities to participate in clinical trials and professional educational events.
WHERE YOU WILL WORK
In the Mental Rehabilitation Centre on the premises of the Beroun Rehabilitation Hospital.
WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU
- Specialized competence in one of the relevant fields - neurology, psychiatry, pneumology, ENT.
- Interest in sleep medicine and willingness to continue training in this field.
- Certificate of somnologist issued by the Czech Society for Sleep Research and Sleep Medicine (CSVSSM) - an advantage.
- We also welcome applicants who do not yet have a certificate but are interested in obtaining one - we will support you in preparing for and passing the professional examination.
- Orientation in polysomnography and other examination methods (or motivation to learn them).
- Diligence, reliability, good communication skills and team spirit.

The mental rehabilitation centre in Beroun is unique not only in the Czech Republic, but also in the context of the whole Europe.
