Our Mental Rehabilitation Centre is a modern workplace equipped with cutting-edge technologies. A team of experienced doctors and health professionals will be at your disposal. You will also have the opportunity to apply innovative practices in your work.
What will be your job:
- Supporting patients by sharing your own experience and peer access
- working with the specialist teams in each department
- helping to navigate the care system and address patients' questions or concerns
- creating a safe space for communication and trust
- after training, also helping to further develop the peer support programme at CDR Beroun, in particular:
- involvement in the development and implementation of the quality plan
- active participation in the development of the peer programme at CDR Beroun
- collaborating on improving the quality of care in accordance with recovery principles and WHO recommendations
WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU
- a person with their own experience of mental illness who is prepared to use it for the benefit of others
- an empathetic and responsible personality with the ability to listen
- an accredited course for peer counsellors (MPSV) is an advantage
- start immediately
WHAT ELSE WE OFFER
- cooperation on a work agreement directly under the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic
- scope approx. 15 hours per month
- work in a modern environment of the Mental Rehabilitation Centre Beroun
- remuneration 370 CZK / hour
- professional guidance, regular supervision and support of an experienced team
- regular monthly meetings of peer consultants involved in the project

The mental rehabilitation centre in Beroun is unique not only in the Czech Republic, but also in the context of the whole Europe.
