We are looking for an experienced and highly organized colleague to join the Hořovice Hospital team, who will take on responsibility for managing, coordinating, and further developing the hospital’s outpatient services.
We are looking for someone who can navigate day-to-day operations, communication with doctors and healthcare teams, financial management, and long-term strategy. The goal of this position is to ensure that our outpatient clinics operate efficiently, have a well-structured workflow, offer accessible appointment times for patients, and make the most of their financial potential.

WORK SCHEDULE
8-hour morning shifts (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)
WHERE YOU’LL WORK
at Hořovice Hospital – administration building
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Comprehensive management and coordination of outpatient services at Hořovice Hospital
- Daily resolution of operational and organizational issues at individual outpatient clinics
- Establishing uniform rules and standards for outpatient services
- Collaborating with department heads, physicians, head nurses, ward nurses, and other hospital executives
- Planning the capacity of individual outpatient clinics, appointment times, and the utilization of personnel and space resources
- Optimizing the appointment scheduling system and ensuring the availability of outpatient care for patients
- Monitoring wait times, clinic utilization, and the use of individual consultation blocks
- Regular evaluation of outpatient department output, revenue, and costs
- Collaborating with the finance department, the controlling department, and the health insurance department
- Evaluating reported medical services and identifying opportunities for more efficient use of contracted services
- Developing and implementing a strategy for the further development of the hospital’s outpatient care
- Preparing proposals to open new outpatient clinics, extend clinic hours, or strengthen successful medical specialties
- Identifying operational and financial reserves at individual clinics
- Setting and monitoring key performance indicators for outpatient clinics
- Improving the patient experience and the organization of patient flow through the hospital
- Collaborating on the digitization and automation of outpatient care processes
- Regular reporting to hospital management
WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU
- A college degree is preferred but not required
- Experience in operations management, ideally in the healthcare sector
- Very good organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work with operational and financial data
- Independence, decisiveness, and a results-oriented mindset
- Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, healthcare staff, and management
- Natural authority and the ability to find practical solutions
- Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
Knowledge of the healthcare reimbursement system, medical service reporting, contractual relationships with health insurance companies, or hospital information systems will be a significant plus.
