IT Business Analyst for Healthcare Digital Projects (m/f)

We are looking for a new colleague who can understand operational needs, translate them into functional specifications, and serve as a liaison between users and the development team. It’s important to be able to think holistically, ask the right questions, and see things through to a usable final form.
You’ll participate in digital projects in the healthcare sector—from internal systems to patient apps.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collect and evaluate requirements from users and operations.
- Analyze the needs of individual departments and propose appropriate solutions.
- Translate business requirements into clear specifications for development.
- Create user stories, epics, and process documentation.
- Conduct end-to-end process analyses.
- Describe existing processes, propose modifications, and design new workflows.
- Model business processes and create BPMN diagrams.
- Prepare functional specifications for both frontend and backend.
- Collaborate on testing and implementing new features into IT systems.
- Help prioritize the backlog based on project goals.
- Participate in workshops and consultations with users.
- Contribute to the design of new digital features and products.
WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU
- Be able to communicate with different types of people - from operations to developers.
- Be able to structure information and think analytically.
- Be able to translate a vague requirement into a specific assignment.
- Experience in creating user stories, process or analytical documentation.
- Oriented in agile development or product collaboration
- Independence, diligence and ability to follow through
Experience with:
- Receiving, evaluating and analyzing user requirements
- Redesigning existing processes and designing new workflows
- Business process modelling and creation of BPMN diagrams
- Creating functional specifications for frontend and backend
- UAT testing and collaborating on the implementation of new features into systems
- Tools such as Jira, Confluence or GitLab
- Healthcare environment or other operationally intensive industry
