The Beroun Rehabilitation Hospital is a modern facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
We are looking for a new member to join our small team in the rehabilitation department as a fitness trainer.
WHERE YOU WILL WORK
Rehabilitation Hospital in Beroun
Work hours: short/long week, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Instructing and training patients on HUR equipment, followed by supervision and assistance as needed
- Conducting physical therapy for patients using DAVID devices (device setup, supervision, and patient correction)
- Gradually, also leading groups of patients on DAVID equipment (approx. 6 people)
- Supervision and assistance with other equipment in the fitness area – cardio zone and functional zone
- Operating Velus jets
- Operating the virtual trainer (a unique technology currently in testing)
- Working with the hospital information system – maintaining patient records
- Scheduling inpatients for fitness sessions and handling phone requests
- Communicating with patients and colleagues, including those on the other shift (process coordination)
- Communicating with the technical department regarding BTK checks, reporting repairs, etc.
WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU
- Higher Vocational School / Secondary School
- Accredited “Fitness Trainer” course (e.g., Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports)
- basics of anatomy and physiology
- pathology (musculoskeletal disorders, cardiovascular problems, etc.)
- Contraindications to exercise
