Nutrition Therapist for Culinary Therapy (m/f)
WHAT TO LOOK FORWARD TO
We are looking for a nutrition therapist—or a professional with equivalent education and experience—to join our team and work with patients facing mental health challenges. This person will help patients adopt healthy eating habits while also leading practical culinary therapy sessions. We’re looking for someone who can talk to patients about food in a clear, practical way without unnecessary lecturing—and who can also engage them in cooking together.
WHAT THIS POSITION ENTAILS
- leading culinary therapy sessions—jointly planning, preparing, and cooking simple, healthy meals with patients,
- Conducting individual and group education sessions/consultations focused on nutrition—covering topics such as regular meal times, diet composition, grocery shopping, and understanding food,
- helping patients apply recommendations to their daily lives,
- supporting patients in developing a healthier and more sustainable relationship with food,
- contributing to the creation and development of the culinary therapy program and its implementation across departments,
- collaborating with other members of the multidisciplinary team.
WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU
Ideally, someone with training in nutritional therapy or a related field. However, we also value personality, the ability to work with people, and a desire to lead hands-on activities.
- Immediate start possible
- Excellent command of the Czech language at the C1–C2 level, both spoken and written,
- You have professional knowledge in the field of nutrition,
- You enjoy cooking and can inspire others to do the same,
- You can explain technical information in a simple and practical way,
- You have a respectful and patient approach to people,
- You are comfortable working with people with mental illness,
- you can lead a group and create a safe and pleasant atmosphere during group activities,
- You’re independent, but you also enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team.
Experience in psychiatry, healthcare, social services, or therapeutic programs is a plus, but not a requirement.

The Mental Health Rehabilitation Center in Beroun is unique not only in the Czech Republic but also in the context of all of Europe.
