JOB SUMMARY:
- Monitoring and evaluating the incidence of healthcare associated infections.
- Collaborating in the development and updating of hygiene and epidemiological standards.
- Methodological guidance and education of healthcare staff in the field of infection prevention.
- Conducting audits of compliance with hygiene procedures (e.g. hand hygiene, use of PPE).
- Cooperation with facility management, laboratories and public health authorities.
- Contributing to the management of epidemiological emergencies.
WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU
- Professional competence to practise as a general nurse (or as a public health protection and promotion assistant).
- Specialist competence in epidemiology preferably or Certified course in infection prevention and control (preferably).
- Knowledge of legislation and standards in infection prevention.
