JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Monitoring and evaluating the incidence of healthcare-associated infections
- Collaborating on the development and updating of hygiene and epidemiological standards
- Providing guidance and training to healthcare staff on infection prevention
- Conducting audits of compliance with hygiene procedures (e.g., hand hygiene, use of PPE)
- Collaborating with facility management, laboratories, and public health authorities
- Participation in the response to public health emergencies
WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU
- Professional qualification to practice as a general nurse (or, as applicable, a public health protection and support assistant)
- Specialized qualification in epidemiology is preferred, or a certified course in infection prevention and control (preferred)
- Knowledge of legislation and standards in the field of infection prevention
